(UpVery.com) Mar 19, 2010 -- Another milestone in the war between Apple and HTC in the field of patents. HTC Corporation today showcased its disagreement with Apple's legal action and reiterated its commitment to continue creating a large number of handsets that offer a variety of options.

According to Jason Mackenzie, vice president of HTC America, HTC has always had good cooperation with other companies, a fact which ultimately led to strategic partnerships with software companies and operators around the world. "It is through these relationships that we have been able to deliver a range of smartphones to a diverse audience worldwide," said Mackenzie.

Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation, is critical of Apple's demand and affirms its intention to defend themselves and remain competitive in the mobile market with even more innovation:

HTC is in total disagreement with the actions taken by Apple and will defend itself. HTC strongly advocates the protection of intellectual property and continue to respect other innovators and their technologies, as always, but will continue to compete with our own innovation as healthy for consumers, so they can get the best experience in mobile phones. From day one, HTC has focused on developing leading-edge innovations that provide unique value for people looking for a smartphone.

There has been no clue as HTC thinks defend against the charges of Apple, but I'm sure their lawyers are already working overtime to have a good defense if it be no trial. Sure we will still have news about these companies, who will defend their interests with all their might to unseat his rival in the mobile phone world.
